This tube offers the full package,high headroom before breakup,extended highs,and big tight bass,and brings too life tube amps that others just can not!
I found this is the only tube that will work in v3 on a 6260 guitar amp,because this v3 seems to DRIVE THE EQ section,others are a bit dark,and lack the upper register!
The gain is strong and if you have one of these in a tone stack it ,try it in all pre tube socketts one at a time,immediatly it reveals a very desirable aspect!
It pays to let you ears adjust while doing testing,theres a tendencey to adjust treble too low,however after a time you will realize how much more lively you sound is,very alive and a midrange adjustment can smooth it really nice !
Im afraid not too have extra cryo jj tubes, other vendors are selling some second rate jj tesla 12ax7 it seems too me !
